I want to explain how PsyclopsRC came to be.

I fly drones as well as drive surface stuff.  Brushless has always been the way to go for me.  The extra power, less heat, and efficiency leading to longer run times was a definite plus.  Then along came the outrunners.  Smaller size with the same power.  Yes they have been around for a while but have really gotten more and more popular as of late.  The only issue with outrunners is that annoying sound when they are run with a standard brushless ESC.  

Ahhhhh silence.

To fix the noise issue Holmes Hobbies and AlkaMotors worked together to write the AM32 software that when paired with the proper ESC hardware can render an outrunner as quiet as an in-runner or brushed motor.  Make no mistake, I don't have anything to do with the software or hardware development or deployment.  I found out about it surfing YouTube and that it was an open-source platform for the masses and spent days pouring through info and experimenting on my own.  Trouble was in the early days the ESC hardware for AM32 didn’t exist so you had to repurpose other hardware.  I found a few tutorials on that process and began to convert a few on my own.  My crawler group saw them and fell in love with the quiet and the extremely small size and Psyclops RC was born.

Since the software is open source there is a second group that developed ESCape32 which works the same way but has different settings and programming schemes.  PsyclopsRC is working with both versions.
