Rear Body Clip for Ascent 18 (Truck Body)

Installation Instructions:
Begin by removing the three cap screws that secure the stock rear mount to the tailgate. Once these screws are out, carefully slide the old mount off. Install the supplied swivel lock and spacer using the included M2.5x16 Button Head Screw. Next, position the BowHouse rear body mount in place of the original. Reinstall the three stock screws into the tailgate plate to secure everything in place.

This body clip system allows you to lock and unlock the rear of the truck body quickly—ideal for trail maintenance or battery swaps without fumbling with clips or tools.

Important Note:
If the swivel lock feels too tight or difficult to engage, simply back out the M2.5x16 screw by about a quarter turn. Adjust until the latch moves freely while still holding securely in place.
