This part is design to replace the stock rear body mount on the Ascent 18 truck body. It has been found that the brace can break due to how short the stock screw is. We have used a much longer screw and thicker plastic to engage the latch so that it doesn't break.
What you get: 1 - M2.5x16, 1 - Latch, 1 - Spacer, 1 - Body Mount
Installation: Remove the three cap Screws on the stock mount into the tailgate. Once those screws are removed, slide off the old mount. Install the swivel lock and spacer with the supplied M2.5x16 Button Head Screw. Slip the Bowhouse mount in place of the old one. Install the three stock screws back into the tailgate plate.
Note: If the swivel lock is too tight to engage, back out the M2.5x16 1/4th turn or untill you can easily lock and unlock the clip.
