MOD 1 Castle Creations Pinions are manufactured from hardened steel, and use the biggest Allen head set screw possible.
MOD 1 pinions are commonly used with 1:8 scale buggy and truggy conversions.
NOT INTENDED FOR 1721 series motor; it has an 8mm shaft. Castle does not currently offer 8mm bore, mod 1 pinions.5mm bore and includes a 4mm set screw; requires a 1.5mm hex wrench to secure the pinion to the motor shaft.
A small drop of blue Loctite (thread adhesive) is recommended to secure the set screw.
